How to lose belly fat without exercise

Hello my lovelies!
Today I'm going to share with you 20 ways to lose belly fat. It's not a must to follow all of them but make an effort to try at least half of it and trust me, you would start to see changes and get results.

1. Drink water : Are you tired of hearing and seeing this on all the blogs, well that must be a sign for you to actually start doing it. Set an alarm to remind you every hour to grab a glass. It's not only for health reasons but for skincare, I'm sure everyone wants glowy and beautiful skin.

2. Do not starve yourself : Contrary to popular belief that less food equals flat tummy, it does not work that way. When you don't eat enough you'll only get hungrier and eventually eat more than you would have if you didn't starve.

3. Eat light : For better and faster results, it's advised to eat light 4 times daily, also make sure your food intakes are at least 3 hours apart. Eat reasonably, just because you're eating more doesn't mean that every hour something is being thrown into your mouth.

4. Eat less carb : The body tends to store excess carbs that accumulate near the belly area hence causing your belly to bulge. If you cannot live without your carbs, try healthier versions. For example, eat brown rice, whole grain pasta and oat instead of white rice, white bread, pizzas etc.

5. Eat fruits and vegetables : Veggies and fruits are healthy and necessary when trying to lose belly fat or even general body fat, I'd advice to increase your love for them. They can be used as snacks to fill up the belly and reduce hunger. Spinach, Lettuce, Cabbage can be used to make healthy lunch.

6. Don't skip breakfast : Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. It's important not to skip your breakfast even when you're in a hurry or you're just not a fan of it. It's a great source of energy to help you get through your morning so even though you don't think it's necessary, do it for the culture.

7. No more food after... : I spoke about this in my video on how to lose weight fast. Pick a reasonable time to stop eating, scientifically it has to be at least 3 hours before you sleep and try not to eat anything after that time. This would prevent bloating and aid digestion.

8. Limit your alcohol intake : Alcohol also has calories, its the perfect way to consume more calories without feeling like your doing anything wrong. Beer drinkers tend to have big and bloated bellies - learn from them. If you're trying to lose that belly fat, reduce your alcohol intake and cutout beer.

9. Eat your protein : Lean protein like fish, chicken, eggs, meat are amazing to include in your meal because they are both filling and healthy.

10. Take green tea : Substituting tea for alcohol and soda is the best way to get rid of those unwanted fat around your body and maintain that figure. Green tea contains herbs and ingredience that are helpful for a number of reasons. You can't go wrong with a nice cup of green tea to start or end your day.

11. Make ginger your bestie : In this game of weight loss, ginger is important. Ginger helps reduce bloating and calms your intestines. There are several ways to take ginger, by adding it to your food, in  drinking water, in your green tea etc.

12. Increase your daily activities : To lose weight generally without exercise, you need to add some more activities to your daily routine that would allow you move around more. This would help breakdown and digest your food faster thereby reduce bloating, burn calories and stored fat.

13. Avoid cheat day : some people get tired sometimes of eating healthy so one day in a week to eat absolutely anything seems like a plan. Cheat day can sometimes lead to cheat week, cheat month and then cheat year. Being healthy is a lifestyle, the more you do it the easier and more interesting it gets.

14. Make your own food : A lot of our fat issues come from food and our daily intake. Sometimes we eat food prepared by others not caring about the ingredients and preparation process. I'll advice us to cultivate the habit of making our own food just so you can control what goes into your mouth and your body.

15. Rest up / sleep : When you're asleep your body does it's work. A good sleep is the best way to get rid of those extra belly fat. Want to get rid of that belly fat? in your dreams.

16. Do some stretches : I particularly like doing morning and evening stretches, right after I wake up and before going to bed. It won't take up your time or energy, you can stretch for like 1 minute just to get your muscles and joints lubricated. Do about 2/3 tummy stretches to work those tummy muscles, this would positively affect your result.

17. Listen to your belly : A lot of times, we eat when we are thirsty. If you take every single signal your body gives you as hunger, you'll keep getting indigestions and bloating but when you listen to your belly and your body you'll be able to differentiate hunger, thirst, simple movements and when you're full.

18. Cut your sugar intake : A lot of people can't live without adding sugar to everything including things that already have sugar in them. cut down your intake of sugar in your tea, cereal, yams etc. Remove soda and juice that have excessive sugar.

19. Stop binging : When ever we binge watch our favourite show, it forces us to constantly eat. Binging allows you to eat way more than your body can control which increases fat and causes bloating that causes big tummy.


20. Waist training : This is my favourite way to control what I eat and how my body looks. Although it might be uncomfortable but it restricts you from eating too much and also helps your waist and belly get smaller.
