Dieting - skinny in a few

 Dieting, according to Wikipedia " is the practice of eating food in a regulated and supervised fashion to decrease, maintain, or increase body weight.
From this definition, we can see that there are three kinds of dieting ;
1. For weight loss - which is what this post is about.
2. To maintain body weight.
3. To increasing the body.

Dieting for weight loss
This is the restriction on what you can and cannot eat, or the consumption of food substances that helps reduce the body weight.
When you reduce weight, you tend to look slimmer, you start to feel lighter - which would help you carry out day to day activities, it would help your breathing and also your heart rate and reduces your chances of diseases caused by obesity or overweight.

Why you should not go on a diet
There are so many reasons why we should not go on a diet or try too hard to lose weight, especially because of pressure from others.
These are the ones I think are most reoccuring ;
1. To impress someone - it's your body not theirs, they won't feel the pain with you.
2. For an event - when the event is over, what else?

Reasons why you should lose weight
The no 1. Reason why I think anyone should lose weight is 'YOU'. You should strive to be a better version of you and if you're comfortable with how you look, then own it. Stop letting what others say get to you. Tell them: 'when I feel there's a problem, I'll fix it'.

Health reasons - if your present weight is affecting your breathing or your heart or giving you any issues then you need to work on it, or do something about it.

Body Shape - when you have decided that your body shape needs a little more work and you would look way better if your waist was a little more defined, you can decide to waist train, workout because everything hurts and is really uncomfortable. Your friends won't help with the pain.

Your Image - if you are a very confident person and like to show everyone that yes, you're in the building. I think you should work on your appearance and body. Also, if you're a shy person and not so confident (like me), working on your body would boost a lot of your esteem.

Advice - it takes time, consistency, motivation and determination. Nothing comes easily. You cannot just think it and it'll happen, you have to work for it.
So, do not wait for anyone to tell you that there's a problem before you see it and if you feel like there's no problem, then don't let anyone's talk bother you.
You're perfect the way you've been created.
