10 Healthy Breakfast ideas



Hello my loves!!

I've gotten some questions about food and how it affects weightloss, weight gain and health in general. Majority of my readers are Nigerians and complain that following a strict healthy diet in Nigeria is almost impossible so I've put together 10 healthy, fun, Nigeria friendly food combos for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Food is such a delicate subject when it comes to staying/being healthy because a lot of people are allergic while others just plain don't like some things.
This does not follow any particular diet because some people pick their food according to the specific diet they are on. To read more about dieting, different types and choosing which diet best fits your program and what you're trying to achieve, stay tuned to this blog.

Some Breakfast Ideas 

1. Bread and Avocado paste : This is a quick and light way to start your day. You can look up different avocado paste recipes to keep the taste different and exciting.



2. Oatmeal and fruits : This is actually my favourite breakfast ever because it's really filling and very tasty, you can put as many fruits in as you like.



3. Cereal Bowl : This is by far the fastest meal to make. All you need is a bowl, a spoon, your preferred cereal, milk and a glass of water. The process is self explanatory.



4. Smoothie Bowl : This has to be the best breakfast in my opinion because it's like having ice-cream for breakfast and not feeling bad about it. All you have to do is make the fruit blend as thick as you can and cold. yum. I love how you can play around with the colours according to the fruits you have.




5. Bread and spread with fruits : The only downside to having this is that you have to select your spread according to your diet. Asides that, combinations are endless.




6. Pancakes and fruits : There are several recipes for making pancakes depending on your preference but it's amazing how for every diet, there's a recipe to make a pancake that is suitable. 



7. Bagel and scrambled eggs : You can make your eggs according to how you like them, garnish with some vegetables and we're good for the morning. 



8. Omelette and sausage : Breakfast omelette is a lot of people's favourite but I love to have sausages in the morning, what better way to do that than to put them together. Looks and tastes yum. 



9. French Toast : This is the fancier version of having bread and eggs with syrup and fruits. 



10. Waffles : I've always thought waffles looked beautiful, they taste pretty good too. What better way to start your day than with waffles, dripping honey/syrup and some fruits. hmm. The only down side is that you need a waffle maker to make waffles. lol. facts tho.
